Baki the Grappler is a manga and anime series by Keisuke Itagaki. It was originally serialized in the Weekly Shōnen Champion from 1991 to 1999, lasting 42 collected volumes. It was followed by two sequel series, New Grappler Baki (バキ, Baki^?) (serialized from 1999 to 2005) and Baki: Son of Ogre (Hanma Baki^?) (which began in 2005 and currently in serialization).

This anime is one of my favorite because it fun and interesting.

The boy named AZUMA is the star of this anime, when he was a child his favorite food to eat rice, the his sister made a dinner bread and suddenly azuma dont like the bread and his grandfather umasabaro dont like it to. The day pasted, and azuma’s sister Brougth him to a unnamed bakery, azuma was amaze, he saw lot of different kinds of breads, his sister pick a dinner bread and smash into azuma’s mouth. Azuma was suprised because of the bread it is so delicious.

The baker fought azuma how to bake a bread, and the baker was surprised because azuma’s hand has solar hands.Solar hands is a sacred talent that has a baker have.Solar hands is good because, when your baking the dough ferment fast.

Azuma’s journey continue, when he entered the PANTASIA’S new comer’s battle.To make this battle short, azuma won this battle.and he is working on a bakery named pantasia but not in the main branch he is assigned to pantasia’s souther tokyo branch.

A month came and another battle is comng and it is called  the MONACO CUP azuma joined the cup with his companion kawachi and kai. They participated to the cup and they won.

And azuma’s dream continue and pursued his japan bread.

The series features much crossover with the its sister series xxxHolic, another manga by Clamp.
